Membership is not an annual donation — it is a vote. The general assembly elects the board, approves the financial statements, and holds the executive to account.
Member rights
What membership gives you
- Attend general assembly meetings and vote on its resolutions.
- Stand for election to the board under the conditions in the articles.
- Review the annual reports and audited financial statements.
- Hold the board to account for the association’s performance and decisions.
- Propose items for the general assembly agenda.
Conditions
Statutory conditions to join
- Be a Saudi national (or as the articles of association permit for non-nationals).
- Be at least eighteen years of age.
- Have full legal capacity.
- Not have been convicted of an offence against honour or integrity, unless rehabilitated.
- Pay the annual membership fee set by the general assembly.
Membership is approved by board resolution once eligibility is verified and the fee is paid. Voting rights vest only after the period stated in the articles of association.
